ABOUT ME

My name is Alex and I graduated from Roehampton University in 1999 with a 2:1 in English and History with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
I have worked in both the state and Independent sector for the past 24 years in both KS1 and KS2. During my teaching career I have coordinated different subjects including English. 

 

I have been running my own tutoring business for the past 3 years -  Avtutoring - tutoring for the individual www.avtutoringuk.co.uk

I am a Level 7 Dyslexia Specialist Teacher and Dyslexia Assessor.

I hold an APC (assessment practising certificate), therefore I am able to undertake comprehensive diagnostic assessments for Dyslexia.
